OUR
FUTURE
May
26 - 29, 2006
Camping with
Brian's family! Brian and I went camping last Memorial Day, so we decided
to make it an annual thing. This time, we invited his mom, stepfather,
and siblings. I am sure it will turn into another "let's see who
can build the biggest fire" contest. Afterall, isn't that what camping
is all about? Anyways, we are going to the same place we did last year,
too -- Autumn Lakes Campground in Sunbury, Ohio. If you are around the
area and want to come visit, click
here to get to their website. The more the merrier. And oh yeah,
bring some WOOD.

This is a
late entry. Brian told me I forgot his birthday. So there it is. This
is Brian's birthday. He will be 29. Just wait til next year honey, when
it WILL BE a BIG deal.

My best friend
Lori brings her mom, daughter, and my mom down for a functional, yet
fun visit. Lori, Lorynn (her daughter), Brian, and I are heading to King's
Island on the 12th. The rest of the week is to get everything around
for the wedding (that thing that is farther down in the "our future" listing).
It is sure to be a fun time, and I am even trying to get Brian psyched
that he doesn't have to eat my cooking for that week!

Although we
are looking forward to this trip up home to Upstate NY, we are not looking
forward to the drive. We have to go up there, as well as on Labor Day
Weekend, to try to finalize things for the wedding. We have to meet with
the reception coordinator, photographer, officiant, and a few other people
I am not remembering right now. If anyone rich is reading and would like
to offer us a private jet ride, we have no problem accepting charity;)
At least the trip back down will be broken up, as we are stopping in
Cleveland to catch the Indians/Yankees game. This will be the first time
Brian and I are at a baseball game cheering for different teams. That
might make the drive home more interesting.

Another trip
to NY. Ugh, are we going to be sick of driving by the end of this year.
Next year, my family can expect to see us...pretty much at Christmas only.
On this particular trip, we have to finish up all of the rest of loose
ends for the wedding (like, get our marriage license). Brian and Brett
(Lori's husband) are going to go golfing while I am at my wedding shower
in Addison.
Then,
on Sunday,
Lori and I are going to join our men and go golfing. That ought to be hilarious.
We suck...not just a little. We really suck at golf because we have pretty
much never played. Then, that Sunday night we are having a picnic with
Lori's family (her family and my family get together once a year or so
for a picnic).

No way -- another
trip to NY. Except this time, it is to get MARRIED. Woohoo...finally the
day will be here. I am sure a smattering of things are going to go horribly
wrong on this trip, but we are just going to have to take them in stride.
You know, chocolate cake on my beautiful dress, or a huge zit on Brian's
nose. After we get married on Saturday (the 7th) and go to brunch with
our families and out of town guests on Sunday, we head to Columbus to jump
on a plane to Orlando. On Monday we leave out of Port Canaveral on a Carnival
cruise to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, and Nassau. I have never been to these
places on previous cruises and Brian has never been on a cruise, so it
will be super fun. Brian said all he wants out of his honeymoon is to NOT
WORK (me too), lots of sex, and lots of food. Check, woohoo check, and
check;)
